For owners who’d rather get AI right than get it first.

Where AI fits your business — and where it doesn’t.

Practical AI for real estate, property management and trades businesses, based in Beaufort, South Carolina and serving Virginia Beach, Virginia. We inspect how your business actually runs, verify what AI can and can’t do for it, and hand you a plan you own.

How we stand behind the work

In writing

Every engagement runs under a written scope with a risk schedule that says, plainly, what we are responsible for and what stays with you. No surprises on either side.

A person signs off

Every automation we recommend has a human review step in front of anything that reaches your customers — a message, a listing, a recommendation. The written scope says so, and it says who operates it.

Insured

Salt Marsh Growth AI, LLC carries professional liability (errors and omissions), cyber liability, and general liability coverage. We share certificates of insurance with clients and prospective clients on request.

Yours to keep

The automations we build run in your own accounts, under your name. If we part ways, they keep working and you keep them. Salt Marsh Lookout runs on our side and reads your numbers by connection; the scope says exactly what it reads.

A representative daily brief

A sample of how Lookout reads. Toggle between public data and a connected feed to see how the read sharpens when your own numbers are in it. Sample data only — a representative brief, not any client's numbers.

One thing the Audit records

When a buyer asks AI “who’s good around here?”, is it saying your name?

Search results and AI answers can name different businesses, even for a similar question, because they are built from different things. Before we start an Audit we ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google and Gemini the questions your next customer asks, and record what they say, with the date. It goes in the report as a finding — the questions, the answers, and what we observed as distinct from what we can explain.

Consumer AI usage: 48% of U.S. consumers have used conversational AI to find local business information (GatherUp, 2025; independently replicated at 45% by BrightLocal).

Three questions your next customer asks.

Paste each into ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity with your trade and town filled in, and see whether your firm is named.

  1. Who’s a good [your trade] near [your town]?
  2. Is [your firm name] in [your town] any good?
  3. Who should I call for [the job you do most] in [your town]?

Were you named? That’s the finding the Audit starts from.

From the founder

Brett Morris, founder of Salt Marsh Growth AI

I’m Brett Morris. I spent thirteen years working up through several roles at a Virginia Beach IT services business, ending as the general manager who owned the P&L, then a decade building business partnerships at Veeam Software, a data security company, and at Amazon Web Services. I started Salt Marsh to give owner-led businesses a practical view of AI: what it is, where it fits, and how to use it safely, responsibly, and well.
