We bring practical AI to the people who run the coastal economy — the brokerages, the property managers, the trades shops that keep things moving. We’re not chasing the latest trend, and we’re not here to sell you on AI for its own sake. We focus on what’s actually useful in your business, build only that, and give you a straight answer about where AI fits and where it doesn’t.
From the founder
I’m Brett Morris, and I started Salt Marsh Growth AI. I was born in Beaufort, SC, and grew up spending as much time as I could out on the water.
I’ve spent my career in two worlds. For more than ten years I helped run a services business — making the day-to-day calls on staffing, training, and deploying our engineers — and helped grow it from $40 million to over $100 million. I know what it’s like to carry a payroll, weigh a new tool against everything else on your plate, and live with the decision.
I’ve also seen technology from the other side. I held senior roles at GE (general manager and VP) and Xerox (SVP and general manager), and at AWS I was a Senior Partner Manager on an enterprise team, building technology partnerships with the software and AI platforms the largest companies rely on.
That’s the gap I built Salt Marsh to close. Too often, AI gets sold to small businesses in the language of the enterprise, by people who’ve never run one. My job is to translate it honestly for the operators who run the coastal economy: tell you what’s worth doing, build what’s worth building, and stand behind it. I think in business outcomes, not code.
