Who we are
This website is run by Salt Marsh Growth AI, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company based in Beaufort, South Carolina. If anything on this page raises a question, email brett@saltmarshgrowth.ai or call (843) 310-6053 (South Carolina) or (757) 574-9211 (Virginia).
What we collect, and when
Most visits to this site collect nothing about you personally. Three things do:
- The contact form. Your name, email address, company, the type of inquiry, and whatever you write in the message. You choose to send it; we collect nothing from the form until you do.
- The discovery questionnaire. Some prospective clients are sent a private link to a short questionnaire about how their business runs. It asks for your name, role, company, the best way to reach you, and your answers about your operation. Only people we have invited see it.
- Scheduling. Booking a Discovery Conversation takes you to Calendly, a separate company with its own privacy policy. What you enter there is collected by Calendly and shared with us so we can hold the meeting.
Where it goes
We do not run our own servers. The services below hold the information on our behalf, and we use each one only for the purpose described.
- HubSpot — our customer records system. Contact-form submissions are stored here so we can reply and keep track of the conversation.
- Make.com — carries discovery-questionnaire answers from the page to our records. If that connection is unavailable, the page opens an email to us instead.
- Netlify — hosts this site. Like any web host, it keeps short-lived server logs with the address your device connects from, the browser you use, and the pages you request.
- Google Analytics — tells us which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from, so we know what is useful. It sets cookies in your browser and sends usage data to Google. It runs on saltmarshgrowth.ai only. You can block it with your browser’s cookie settings or Google’s own opt-out tool.
The representative brief on the home page is loaded from another site we operate on Netlify. It is a demonstration built on sample data; we have not added analytics to it.
What we do with it
We use what you send us to reply to you, to prepare for and carry out an engagement if we work together, and to keep a record of that work. That is the whole list.
We do not sell or rent anything about you, we do not run advertising, and we do not hand your details to data brokers or to other businesses for their own marketing. We share information only with the service providers named above, and if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Contact-form and questionnaire records stay in our systems while we are talking or working together, and for as long afterward as we need them for our own records — for example, to stand behind work we delivered. Server logs are kept by Netlify for a short period and then discarded. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless a legal or contractual obligation requires us to keep part of it; we will tell you if so.
Your choices
Email us and we will show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We aim to answer within thirty days. If the state you live in gives you specific privacy rights, you have those too, and the same email address is how you use them. You can also simply not use the form or the questionnaire; the phone number and email address on every page work fine.
Children
This site is for business owners and operators. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change what we collect or who handles it, we will change this page and update the date at the top. We will not apply a change to information we already hold in a way you would not expect without telling you first.
